We do this from inside an orthopedic unit
The weight you lose is load your knee, your hip, and your spine stop carrying. With every step, the knee joint carries several times your body weight — which is why, in a patient with joint pain, metabolic work isn't cosmetic: it's part of orthopedic treatment.
We're not chasing a number on the scale. We want your metabolism to stop working against you, and moving to cost you less again.
Your knee doesn't feel your weight. It feels what multiplies when you walk.

257
kg-force
Illustrative estimate using a load factor of 3× body weight during gait. It's a reference to explain the principle, not a measurement of your case. Your actual load depends on your gait, your alignment, and the condition of the joint — that's assessed in consultation.

This program isn't for everyone
Admission is by medical indication, not by request. The initial consultation exists precisely to determine whether you qualify — and if you don't, we'll tell you.
It makes sense to evaluate you if…
- You're living with overweight or obesity and you already feel it in your knees, hips, or back.
- You have metabolic conditions: elevated glucose, insulin resistance, fatty liver, dyslipidemia.
- You're in rehabilitation or preparing for orthopedic surgery, and your weight is holding back your progress.
- You've tried diet and exercise on your own and couldn't sustain the result.
This isn't what you're looking for if…
- You want a fast result without medical evaluation or lab work.
- You're looking for treatment without monthly in-person follow-up.
- You expect a guaranteed number of pounds or kilos: no serious physician can promise that.
- You're not willing to let a physician decide whether medical treatment is appropriate for you.
Three steps, in order
- 1
You message us on WhatsApp
A coordinator asks a few brief questions and schedules your evaluation.
- 2
You come in for your evaluation
Medical history, lab work, capillary glucose, and body composition analysis. You leave with your complete metabolic picture.
- 3
If you qualify, you start your protocol
You begin your medical protocol that same month: prescription medical treatment, administered and supervised here at our unit, along with your meal plan and monthly follow-up.
A metabolic program inside an orthopedic unit
The difference isn't the treatment: it's the context. Here your weight is managed together with the joint that's carrying it, inside a medical unit with electronic health records, validated functional scales, and documented follow-up of your progress.
This isn't an aesthetic clinic that also does weight loss. It's an orthopedic unit that treats metabolism because it's part of the treatment.
And if your joint already has damage, you don't have to go anywhere else: regenerative treatments and the orthopedic care your case requires are assessed in the same unit.

What patients ask us most
- It isn't decided over WhatsApp or online. It's decided in the initial consultation, with your medical history, your lab work, and your body composition analysis on the table. If you don't qualify, we tell you right there.
- If your evaluation supports it, yes: the program includes prescription medical treatment, administered and supervised at our unit. It isn't indicated in every case, and that decision is strictly medical.
- No serious physician can give you a guaranteed number. The answer varies with your starting point, your metabolic conditions, and your adherence to the plan. What we do is measure your body composition so you can see real change, not just the number on the scale.
- Yes. Monthly in-person follow-up is part of the program, not an optional extra: it's what allows us to adjust your treatment based on how you're responding.
- No. Follow-up studies are ordered every 2 to 3 months, and only when your evaluation calls for it. They aren't repeated routinely.
- It's assessed in the same unit. If your case requires an orthopedic opinion, it's given by Dr. Juan Martínez Caamaño, and from there we determine whether conservative care, regenerative treatment, or something else applies.
Losing weight relieves the load, but it doesn't repair damage that's already there
If your knee already has an injury or wear, it's worth assessing in parallel. We explain your options clearly — and when surgery isn't needed.
Start by knowing where your metabolism stands
Restoring your metabolic health starts with measuring it. Message us and schedule your evaluation — if you don't qualify, we'll tell you in consultation.
Message us on WhatsAppThe information on this page is informational and does not replace medical consultation. Admission to the program requires an in-person clinical evaluation; not everyone qualifies. Medical treatment is prescribed exclusively by a physician, following individual evaluation, and is not indicated in every case. Results vary by patient and no amount of weight reduction is guaranteed. Prices in US dollars, current as of publication and subject to change without notice.
