Your weight doesn't just change how you look. It changes what your joints carry.

A physician-supervised program to reduce weight and correct metabolic conditions. If you qualify, it includes prescription medical treatment for weight management, administered and monitored at our unit.

We do this from inside an orthopedic unit

The weight you lose is load your knee, your hip, and your spine stop carrying. With every step, the knee joint carries several times your body weight — which is why, in a patient with joint pain, metabolic work isn't cosmetic: it's part of orthopedic treatment.

We're not chasing a number on the scale. We want your metabolism to stop working against you, and moving to cost you less again.

Joint load

Your knee doesn't feel your weight. It feels what multiplies when you walk.

95kg

Estimated load per step

285

kg-force

Estimated load after a 10% reduction in body weight

257

kg-force

Illustrative estimate using a load factor of 3× body weight during gait. It's a reference to explain the principle, not a measurement of your case. Your actual load depends on your gait, your alignment, and the condition of the joint — that's assessed in consultation.

Before you write

This program isn't for everyone

Admission is by medical indication, not by request. The initial consultation exists precisely to determine whether you qualify — and if you don't, we'll tell you.

  • You're living with overweight or obesity and you already feel it in your knees, hips, or back.
  • You have metabolic conditions: elevated glucose, insulin resistance, fatty liver, dyslipidemia.
  • You're in rehabilitation or preparing for orthopedic surgery, and your weight is holding back your progress.
  • You've tried diet and exercise on your own and couldn't sustain the result.
  • You want a fast result without medical evaluation or lab work.
  • You're looking for treatment without monthly in-person follow-up.
  • You expect a guaranteed number of pounds or kilos: no serious physician can promise that.
  • You're not willing to let a physician decide whether medical treatment is appropriate for you.
How it starts

Three steps, in order

  1. 1

    You message us on WhatsApp

A coordinator asks a few brief questions and schedules your evaluation.

  2. 2

You come in for your evaluation

Medical history, lab work, capillary glucose, and body composition analysis. You leave with your complete metabolic picture.

  3. 3

If you qualify, you start your protocol

You begin your medical protocol that same month: prescription medical treatment, administered and supervised here at our unit, along with your meal plan and monthly follow-up.

Who leads it

A metabolic program inside an orthopedic unit

The difference isn't the treatment: it's the context. Here your weight is managed together with the joint that's carrying it, inside a medical unit with electronic health records, validated functional scales, and documented follow-up of your progress.

This isn't an aesthetic clinic that also does weight loss. It's an orthopedic unit that treats metabolism because it's part of the treatment.

And if your joint already has damage, you don't have to go anywhere else: regenerative treatments and the orthopedic care your case requires are assessed in the same unit.

What patients ask us most

If your knee also hurts

Losing weight relieves the load, but it doesn't repair damage that's already there

If your knee already has an injury or wear, it's worth assessing in parallel. We explain your options clearly — and when surgery isn't needed.
